BOC Announces Guadalajara 2011 Pan Am Games Team
The BOC has finalized the team travelling to the upcoming Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games. The Bahamas are sending 22 athletes, to compete in five sports, including: Athletics (13), Swimming (5), Boxing (1), Bowling (2) and Tennis (1).

Commonwealth Youth Games Team Selected
The Bahamas is set to send a contingent of eight athletes to the Isle of Man next month to compete in the Commonwealth Youth Games. Two cyclists and six track and field athletes will represent the Bahamas from September 7th to the 13th.
London 2012 Authorised Ticket Reseller
The Bahamas Olympic Committee is pleased to continue its ongoing partnership with Cartan Tours. Cartan Tours will serve as the BOC’s Authorised Ticket Reseller for the upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games.

After beating the team of Andrea Gamiz and Mariana Muci from Venezuela in the semi-finals of the women’s doubles competition on Thursday Bahamians Larika Russell and Nikita Fountain experienced a roller coaster of a final but found the will to pull off a gold medal performance at the Central American Games in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on Friday.
June 10th was a monumental day for The Bahamas as Pauline Davis-Thompson finally received her gold medal as a result of Marion Jones' admission to taking steroids at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
MAYAGUEZ – Trinidadian George Bovell smashed an eight-year-old record and Bahamian Ariana Vanderpool-Wallace set yet another mark, as the Caribbean shone in the pool at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Puerto Rico on Wednesday night.
